1 Day Intermediate Photography workshops

This 5 hour DSLR photography course combines almost 45 years of photographic experience with Ben Halcombe from 7 Chairs and Joe Moreno from Smarterdigital. It is designed for those with more knowledge in photography and those who need to refresh their basic knowledge. By the end of the workshop you will be feeling confident with your camera and be ready to take great shots. If you don't own a digital SLR, you can borrow one of ours and see what you will need when you buy your own. Our sessions are limited to a maximum size of 10 people to ensure personalised tuition

The day is split between fun and easy theory lessons using a visual display with lots of photos to show visions and concepts with plenty of opportunities for comments and questions. A take-home lecture-slide booklet is also provided so instead of trying to madly write things down, you can instead focus on absorbing and learning.

Having a studio at the base of the Blue Mountains at Glenbrook allows courses to go ahead, rain hail or shine (besides, some of the best photographs are taken in those flat-light conditions of rainy overcast days). There are beautiful areas to photograph just minutes from the studio

By the end of the workshop you will be feeling confident with your digital camera and be ready to tackle a wide range of subjects.

Kicking off at 10:00 AM the 5 hour day includes a short break with light lunch available
