We tailor digital camera tuition to suit your individual needs and requirements - beginner, intermediate or advanced. You control the pace of the lesson!

The lesson can take place in your own home, with your own camera equipment and computer at hand. Or if you prefer, we can meet at a location,where you'll get a hands-on tour of all your camera's features and walk away confident to take photos in any situation.

All age groups catered for, with special emphasis on education for younger family members. Group or family bookings are welcome.

A wide range of subjects can be covered, such as:

  • The equipment needed to produce photographic-quality images
  • Getting the best from your digital camera, whether it's a compact (snapshot) or SLR model. We specialise in Oympus, Canon, SONY, Nikon, Fujifilm, Casio, Samsung & Ricoh cameras.
  • Working with camera Raw files
  • Basic introduction to digital imaging (e.g. Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or Picasa 2)
  • Storing and managing images on your computer
  • Working with layers
  • Using and understanding histograms
  • Levels, cropping and colour adjustment
  • Creating montages
  • Adding text to your images
